ABOUT ABOUT

Using the wisdom of worldwide folktales,  Dr. Bateman will offer examples of creative outcomes to bereavement including memorial textile art and the Temples at Burning Man. She will discuss how symbolmaking can help mourners share and ritualize loss, offering imaginal lifelines to lost loved ones.

This Sierra College Insights session will include storytelling, real life examples and time to use a helpful and creative process for regulating grief. Participants may come to address any loss - loss of a relationship, loss of innocence, loss of a time in one's life, loss of a pet, or loss of a loved one.

Please join us at 6:30 p.m. for complimentary refreshments and socializing. This special interactive session will last until 8:30 p.m.
