The Evolution of Graphic Design - A brief history of human visual communication
During this visual presentation, graphic designer Cesar Lopez will guide you aboard a time machine for a trip to 20,000 B.C. We’ll start our journey by looking at some of humanity's earliest recorded forms of visual communication. From there we’ll travel back to present day, examining the evolution of graphic design throughout history.
Lopez owns a graphic design company and teaches graphic computer illustration at Sierra College. He received his BS in Graphic Design from San Jose State University.
Sierra College Insights is an interactive presentation series that takes place on the Tahoe-Truckee campus. It is provided at no cost and is open to residents and visitors. Attendees are invited to socialize over refreshments sponsored by Starbucks from 6:30 to 7 p.m.
